Last minute bid @ 10pm that night. I wasn't very strategic on my bidding. I had expected to use a Marriot voucher, but they didn't have any voucher rooms available.

Anyway, bid 3* for $55 in downtown Norfolk

Then, 2* for $45 for downtown Norfolk,

Then, 2* for $45 for downtown Norfolk, Virginia Beach -not ocean area

Then, success for 2* for $55 for downtown Norfolk, Virginia Beach -not ocean area, Norfolk airport 9/9-9/10

-Upgraded to 3* doubletree

Decent hotel, clean high quality rooms. Not in an especially desireable area. Much better than it used to be. Located in a shopping mall - free mall parking.
