Priceline Hotel: Resort San Juan Caribe Hilton

A few days ago I tried:

San Juan $80 rejected closed browser and added

Mayaguez $85 rejected " " " "

Dorado $90 rejected

Today I tried:

San Juan $95 rejected closed browser and added

Mayaguez $100 rejected " " " "

Dorado $105 rejected

As always through Savingsbarn. Do I still have a chance around this price range? I know the last time (about 3 yrs ago same month) we got the Caribe about 1-2 months before. Is that still the pattern on when they release inventory??

For awhile the Marriott was releasing rooms early, but that is no longer the case. Still early for a San Juan stay next March... but rates are high for the above date, i would try to find a cancellable back-up in the meantime.

I have been trying the above strategy frequently...all rejected. Today I read that someone got the Caribe Hilton for $75 for 2/23 pre cruise stay.

So I tried $70 for 2 rooms on 3/17/07 1 night...accepted!! (savingsbarn) :)

One of the rooms will have 3 guests, but I'll take my chances. I will call the hotel and request 2 dbl.
