I just call the hotel directly, with my Hyatt frequent stay card, and make the requests on the phone. That way you can be assured that they will log in your requests, and you won't risk having an email get lost in the universe.....The card has a great bonus feature -- you can call in in the AM and get a room pre-assigned -- a type of early checkin. This really saved us one day when we were going to stay in a Hyatt near Lisle, outside of Chicago. When we got to the desk about 6 PM there was a long line of disgruntled people. They turned to us and warned us that the hotel had overbooked and they were having to relocate people to other hotels. But when we got to the desk, our room was available because we had checked in so early!!!! I felt sorry for the conventioneers -- they had to split up to different suburban hotels several miles apart.

I don't know of any other chain that does this, and we really appreciated the feature!
