pierroth Posted September 6, 2006 Author Report Posted September 6, 2006 Yes, it was my first bid. Basically, I surveyed the going rate for similar hotels in that area on Expedia and Orbitz and came up with an avg. rate of $130, which I divided in half to arrive at my starting bid.
pierroth Posted September 12, 2006 Author Report Posted September 12, 2006 Although the in-house restaurant menus struck me as a bit on the overpriced side, I can't recommend the hotel enough for peacefulness if you don't mind staying outside of downtown. We ended up with a 2-room, corner suite and I haven't slept so well in a hotel in years.
