Hotwire Hotel: Another 8$ in North Strip

Well it seems that the expertise on this site may be able to help me out.

I'm looking at a hotwire bid for a 4 star, North Strip (Vegas) Hotel and see 8 Amenities on the first page: Casino, Fitness, Pool(s), Restaurant, Business,Hi-Speed Internet, Golf, and Tennis. When I select details I get a 9th one (Spa).

The hotel is going for $238 a night for the 3 nights of Oct 14-17th.

Any ideas of what place this is???? I'd truly appreciate any help or input you might have!

So I'm looking at this and think that I have the Aladdin hotel.

4* Aladdin Hotel

Amenities: Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Tennis, Spa

When I check this on the Aladdin site, I see that the rates are about the same, but the Sat date is RED, meaning that they are not accepting arrivals on that day. I guess in this case the advantage of hotwire is that it would allow me to arrive on that date.

I think I'll just call the hotel. I'll post what I find...

If anyone knows how to find a good price on the strip for about 10 guys on Oct 14th- 17th, please let me know! All help accepted! We usually stay at the MGM, but are open to other ideas. Let this slide a little too long and suddenly prices and availability have gotten much worse.

You could book the Westin for only $154/nite, but it is slightly off-strip (although easily walkable, especially for a bunch of guys)

The ADA (dentists) have a 50,000 meeting in Vegas starting Oct 15th. I am trying to get a hotel for my parents on the 15-17 of October.... According to the ADA web site for this conference, Sept 8th is the deadline for cancellations with refunds, and Sept 20th is cancellations without refunds. I am going to try using those dates, maybe they will "release" any blocks of rooms on those dates.. Worth a shot..
