scorpiosting113
A couple days ago I tried first 4* 65 for Millenium/Loop/Grant Park, rejected.added NMA 4* 70, rejected.next day, 4* 75 both NMA and Millenium/Loop/Grant Park, rejectedtried again by upping offer to 80 and including 3 star, rejected.Saw anothers post about being rejected from 90-102 for 4* in NMA and Millenium/Loop/Grant Park. So, yesterday I tried yesterday at 105..rejected for both NMA and MLGP...it counter offered if i went up $22 per day they would have a room. I went with $110 and got Swissotel on East Wacker..a nice hotel. I am happy. A few years ago the most I had to bid was $75 and usually got either the Westin River North or Hilton Towers. I am happy though as the lowest advertised rate on the swissotels website was $180 per night. You figure in the taxes at 13% and that's like getting a free night. I will always use Priceline for my hotel needs. This is a great site..please everyone share your wins and losses.Michael from Boston, MA Link to comment
