Nyc2005 Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 I received this quote from hotwire for a stay; 9/14/06 to 9/19/06 ( 5 nights ) $93 per nightammenities are;Fitness CenterBusiness CenterRestaurantIf possible, a hotel name would helpThanks
thereuare Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Please follow-up your San Francisco Hotwire thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay... we'll then have a look at the above. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
cloudyskies41 Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 I recieved the same quote, I'm thinking it might be the raddisson, but the hotel's website says that it has a pool as well. Any help would be appreciated and I'll hit support links if find out what it is. Thanks!
Nyc2005 Posted August 28, 2006 Author Report Posted August 28, 2006 I did some more recon work and it seems like its the Mariott. At least that's how Hotwire catagorizes it according to exact ammenities and it's 3* rating. Can't see how the Mariott is rated with 3 stars. Thanks
cloudyskies41 Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Really? Marriott for the same dates I selected is $249 a night. If it were really true, then that would be a savings of over 63% which is practically absurd. Do hotwire discounts range above 60%? Plus, Marriott Ranks at Hotels.com as a 3 1/2* but hotwire's pick shows 3*.
Nyc2005 Posted August 29, 2006 Author Report Posted August 29, 2006 if the $93 per night for the said dates is still available then run a search through hotwire with flight, car, package, etc...If you see the Fishermans Warf location with the same star rating and ammenites...what does that look like to you ?
thereuare Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 cloudyskies41,Are your dates for the same as the above? If not, please start a NEW TOPIC for your own stay.Nyc2005,Where do you see this being the Marriott? I see this as a match for the Hilton Fishermans Wharf and that would be my best guess.cloudyskies41 and Nyc2005,Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make and let us know how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Nyc2005 Posted August 29, 2006 Author Report Posted August 29, 2006 Thats what I meant..cant belive I posted Mariott. I hate Paris so much I couldn't even use her as a reference to remember. Only trouble would be the 28$ night plus tax for parking although in a good area and hotel
BEAV Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 HOTWIRE's vacation package 9/14-9/19 lists Hilton Fisherman's Wharf as an exact match to the star level and amenities you described in your first post, nyc2005. As to parking, $28 is actually a bargain in SF. I was there last week and recall walking past several downtown hotels who's valet parking signs curbside all posted daily parking rates of $40 and upward.
