So, I bid from $100 at $5 increments, using bidding strategy described in another thread. I had to go for $135 before my bid was accepted.What's going on in that weekend? c10000 Posted September 20, 2006 Author Report Posted September 20, 2006 Just came back a few days ago.The hotel is VERY VERY GOOD! Very quiet room, nice view. And best of all, the Japanese restaurant in the hotel has VERY GOOD sushi buffet (all you can eat!) at $42 per person. Unbelievable food at such a reasonable price.As it turned out, there was a big convention going on during those days. kohalasunset Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Charles, glad you enjoyed your stay! The Prince is very popular and you got a great price. During peak seasons it sells out. I wasn't able to get a room last winter on PL at the last minute, which makes a good case for bidding when you have firm plans.
