biddingforhotel Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 Since Residence Inn need $160 to extend, so I just bid again in the area on same $42 for 2.5* ... got nothing and keep adding zones till finally got upgraded from 2.5* to 3* before I exhaust all the zones ...Wow! This hotel looks really nice!!! :)
biddingforhotel Posted August 25, 2006 Author Report Posted August 25, 2006 Some of you sent me messages saying this hotel was not reviewed good... One even told me that he would not have even bid the zone because there is this hotel...Well, I got to tell you folks: This is a very nice hotel ...When we arrived, the hotel parking lots are almost full ... This is very unusual since most hotel I got at good price often got very empty parking lot, sometimes even only dozens cars, make it feel a "scary" feeling, but this one is NOT. Feel so great the parking lot is almost full ...The room is great, new decor, very trendy, very morden style of carpet, nice new curved rod and curtain, the whole bathroom is very shine, the room is big with two beds and two sofa chair and still some room for my kid to make a tent; he brought his tent. Funny? camp inside a 3* hotel? :o The only thing may bother some of you is that they charge $12.95 for wireless internet bood thru hotel room or $9.95 directly thru your credit card. But, it is fine with me because it is super fast!!! So, my productivity is kind of double :) There is a proverb saying "Inch Gold hard to buy inch time." I guess it is not true here ... :)
biddingforhotel Posted August 25, 2006 Author Report Posted August 25, 2006 Take NJ Turnpike to I-276-W then Rt-202-W exit on PA-30-E (don't listen to your GPS, or you would has to do U turn back and no exit and another U turn back a gain ...) then left turn go under pass on LHS, you can't miss it .Just chat with the front desk and was told that they renovate part of hotel each year, and this year they just replace the new carpet, no wonder it looks so different ... Last year they have all new furnitures ... etc. so if you read reviews on Internet that are older than 12 months on this hotel, may be waste your time ... or even worse ... let you make wrong decision ...
biddingforhotel Posted August 27, 2006 Author Report Posted August 27, 2006 Trying to bid this hotel again for tomorrow (8-27-06 sun), but could not get it at $39, so, I guess what I got for $42 couple days a go is not too far from minimum...First bid $40 a night for a 3* and was rejected. They countered with a 'suggestion' to bid $52 without changing anything else. Just did a search on Betterbidding and found this. So, it seems, the best bet may be $41, if not $42 ...Tried again on $40, but rejected, not even countered ...
