Travelnow Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 Started the bid at $60, since the Bilmar Resort sometimes comes up in the zone and it had a rate of $99 for the first 2 nights of our stay. This was rejected. I added the So. St. Petersburg zone, as it is the only free rebid, and increased to $70. Rejected. Finally, I added the Clearwater Beach zone, since we would be happy with the hotels there, and went to $80. Accepted at the Sirata. The lowest average I found for these dates, for a standard room, was $159.00. We are happy with the end result. Will try to post a review. Used the savingsbarn.com link to bid. Thanks!
