larrylaffer
Hello all. Congratulations on a great community. Is it possible to book on priceline.com if you live overseas (Australia) to be precise? I note that it only has space for US/Canadian addresses. Any information would be of great assistance. larrylaffer
Thanks for your prompt reply. For what it is worth, this is what priceline advised:At present, you may use our website to make a booking as long as you have a billing address in the United States or Canada. For your protection, we use an automated address verification system to verify the billing information.I presume this means that the fake area code will not work? I would hate to rock up to a hotel and be told sorry you booked from overseas is all. Link to comment
thereuare
If you follow the instructions in the link i've posted above you shouldn't have any problems... plenty of posts there from users in a similar situation such as yourself and there have been no reported issues. If you're not comfortable with the work-around then you can try HOTWIRE which has no billing address restriction. rapazfreiburg
In my case (German billing address), the work-around has always worked. I usually even put in any one of the states and enter 99999 as my zip code. Alternatively, you could also use priceline.co.uk and bid in UK pounds. They allow you to enter a billing address elsewhere. Link to comment
