Hi,

I'm looking for a downtown San Antonio-Riverwalk Hotel from 10/29/06 - 11/2/06 and found the following on hotwire:

2.5* Downtown San Antonio and Riverwalk at $ 57

Complimentary Breakfast, Pool

Any ideas on what hotel this is? The current list only shows Amerisuites, but this doesn't seem to match the profile exactly. Thanks for any help!

This hotel has not yet been identified, but this star rating and amenity combination is often seen with the La Quinta brand hotels, so that would be my best guess, but i can't say with a high degree of confidence.

Well I ended up booking this, and it ended up being the Red Roof Inn San Antonio Downtown. I'm a bit disappointed, but for the price, I really can't complain.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping it would be La Quinta, so I guess I'll pass on booking it, for now at least.

Sorry to hear this one didn't go as well as you had hoped.

You could 'challenge' hotwire on the star rating of this property as most Red Roof Inns are rated 2* throughout the system. I checked thru various sources and couldn't find any mention of a complimentary breakfast, but upon calling them i was told that they do offer a continental breakfast (but it didn't sound like much).

Thanks for sharing your results as now we'll all have an idea of this property. Maybe it will be better than anticipated... let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the help! I hadn't heard of challenging the rating, so maybe I'll look into that.
