ricegod Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 Did a few prices on priceline with 4 stars hotel, went up to 101 and got nothing... i believe 110 is my max i'm willing to pay. Any suggestions.. Haven't tried Hotwire, there is not bidding feature like they have at priceline... what to do what to do.. All this search is for vancouver downtown.
44disney Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 Either $102 or $104 was the magic number for me getting the Westin in July. Perhaps try adding zones in $1 or $2 increments up to $110-- you may be closer than you realize. Also, check each date on Hotwire individually to see if one of them seems to be going at a much higher price. If so, you could try the other dates at a lower price (I think the Westin goes much cheaper at times...mid-$60's I think I read on a cruise ship board). If you could get a very low rate on one or two days, you could pay more for the final day and still average under $110). Good luck
ricegod Posted August 25, 2006 Author Report Posted August 25, 2006 Anyways, i kept on trying and trying. Got the 4* for 85 bucks on my first try yesterday. I wonder how much cheaper it could have been. But anywho.. 85 dollars for 4* Hyatt Regency in downton vancouver is good. Thanks
