Lynde
I've had no luck with MANY bids over the last week at getting a 4* Downtown Seattle hotel for 9/8/06 to 9/10/06. Location is key to this trip, which is why I haven't tried 3* (and below).Budget - hoping to stay around $130 or less / night since we have to consider parking fee. I even tried bidding $135 / night and was refused on 4* bids.Looking at backup plans...3* hotels - lowest price I can find is $169 at the Renaissance (plus parking)Any thoughts to bidding last minute on 4* downtown hotels and how last minute (ie 3 days, 2 days, etc.)?Suggestions appreciated! thereuare
Using our BetterChecker research tool....The rate at the Renaissance jumps to $260/nite for the second nite of your stay. The 4 star Sheraton is available for $179/nite and is cancellable... i would use this as a back-up while you continue to try the opaque providers. (please use the link in this post or our support page. Not sure if the location works for you, but what appears to be the SummerField Suites is available thru HOTWIRE for $127/nite.Keep us updated as to what you decide to do or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
