I was hoping to land the Hyatt Regency which has gone to quite a few bidders recently for $48 a night...nice place, I stayed there on my last trip. Anyone know why the end of August at the Hyatt went for around $50/night and October is $20+ more? I think there is an AARP Convention that weekend. Is that a big deal?

Also, anyone know if the Holiday Inn Anaheim Resort a nice hotel? I have a hard time believing that it is in the same rating category as the Hyatt. :)

Thanks for the site. This was fun. I'll be sure to check back again.

I dont know anything about the hotel specially, except I think it is on Harbor east of Disneyland. As for the question about the Hyatt, one reason you may not have gotten it is if there is a convention scheduled there.
