CLOK Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 :) Looking for a 5* hotel for 1 night on the vegas strip for 10/7 only. What is the correct strategy to get the lowest price. Is Venetian still the only 5* on the strip for priceline?I'm only looking for 1 night because I'm book in the Bellagio for the remainder of the weekend and week for a conference but don't want to pony up $500 for the Saturday. Thanks!
thereuare Posted August 19, 2006 Report Posted August 19, 2006 Saturday check-ins can be tough in Vegas, and rates thru the Venetian are nearly $700/nite... so you're not likely to have much success on Priceline.Just how much are you willing to pay for a 5* on the Strip? You can book the Venetian HERE for $338/nite, which is 'cheap' compared to the hotel-direct price. CLOK Posted August 19, 2006 Author Report Posted August 19, 2006 I'm OK with the EasyClickTravel price...the only thing that looks strange is that the bottom description has this message **Please be advised that there is no Saturday arrival allowed.** even though it allows me to pull up the hotel for 1 night. Any thoughts?
thereuare Posted August 19, 2006 Report Posted August 19, 2006 Book it and if it goes thru (i'm assuming it will) there should be no problem... then send me a PM and i'll doublecheck for you on Monday. CLOK Posted August 19, 2006 Author Report Posted August 19, 2006 :) I tried to book it but it came back as "Information of this hotel is currently unavailable"Any suggestions?
thereuare Posted August 19, 2006 Report Posted August 19, 2006 Do you get that message when you are searching for the hotel for that date or after you input your credit card info? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
