Priceline Hotel: Help in San Diego

I would like to book a room for Sept 22 for 1 night. I want the Omni hotel located next to Petco Park.

I have never used Priceline or any other bidding site for travel.

Will I be able to tell that I am getting this hotel?

My max is $100 for the night.

Any help would be great!!!

You should start here: I've Never Used Priceline or Hotwire.

You can't bid on a specific hotel. The deep discounts received are for users who are flexible in their travel plans to stay at any hotel within the shaded boundary and at the minimum star level they select. If you must stay at the Omni then you should book direct or thru some other non-opaque means.; if you're able to stay elsewhere let us know and we'll suggest how to best proceed.

That is my first choice but price is more important. I see that I can select an area...so that is fine. The Downtown-Harbor Island is where I would like to stay.

On Hotwire though it says the Omni is in the Gaslamp district.

Each service, priceline and hotwire, define the boundaries of each zone themselves, so although each can name a given area the same, the boundaries thru each service can be quite different.

Are you looking to bid this or Priceline or use HOTWIRE?

There shouldn't be any problem in getting Omni for your budget and on the date requested. Try bidding for the Downtown Harbor area and you should get it between $85-100.
