Howie Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 I'm looking for a 4* hotel on the strip for less than $150/night for Oct. 4-10. Is this too ambitious, or not ambitious enough. Where should I start? Thanks for you help!
thereuare Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Is this in addition to or replace your previous request for a Las Vegas October hotel stay? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Howie Posted August 24, 2006 Author Report Posted August 24, 2006 This would be in addition to my previous post, as the response to that one said to wait until 8 weeks before the trip. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.-Howie
thereuare Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 Under $150 is probably a bit too ambitious for this complete stay... but you're not too far off.The closest i could find based upon your criteria above is the Westin for $171/nite, which is slightly off-strip. Perhaps a better value, and worth the extra $10/nite, is the Aladdin at $180/nite.Both of the above are cancellable up until 3 days before your check-in date so unless you have a better offer from someplace else i would book one of them and then try to beat it thru other means. Neither has a booking fee so actually equivalent to ~$165 and ~$175 bids on Priceline or HOTWIRE.You may be able to do a bit better if SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID is an option, but don't know if you are willing to change hotels during your stay or not.Let us know your thoughts on the above (both regarding the hotels, prices, and splitting your stay). Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
nexus Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Try the Aladdin midweek for $59 or higher.See THIS LINK
