Priceline Hotel: Help on Hotel for 3/5/06 to 3/11/06

Can someone please assist in finding the best deal for a hotel in Vegas for March 3rd thru March 11th. I have stayed both downtown and at places on the strip. I would kind of like a nice pool this time. Anybody now anything about the Orleans???

What is your budget?

Are you willing to SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID?

The Orleans is a solid 3* property but is far removed from the strip and most other Vegas hotels.

splitting the bid may be an option. I would like to keep it around 100 to 150 a night. I really want a nice pool where I can relax and enjoy myself

Why don't you figure out some of the types of places that you would be willing to stay (which have a 'great' pool) and that would give us a little more to go on.

Post back when you have a few names and are ready to book. I'd certainly include Mandalay Bay and Mirage in the list of properties you should look into.

Please help with my trip. I am new to the whole bidding thing. I will arrive in Las Vegas March 5th and check out March 7th. I want to stay somewhere that has a nice pool as I want to relax at a nice accomadation. The more people the merrier as I am newly single also. I have heard good things about MGM but not sold on having to stay there. I just want a nice place with a nice pool.

Please advise.

Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread.

As suggested above, have you done any research to find out which hotels have what you may consider to be a 'great' pool? How are rates at the two hotels suggested above? (to which i'd also add the Monte Carlo)
