JulieAmber
We won this on priceline for 12/31/04 (can't recall how much we won it for, but it was in the $20's or $30's... I can check). It was the plainest suite at which we've ever stayed. What turned our opinion from mediocre to worse is that the hotel shuttle to the airport didn't show up for our 5am request! Fortunately, the hotel manager on duty happened to know a taxi cab driver and woke him up (very early New Year's Day) and asked for a HUGE favor to take us to the airport! We barely made our flight, but wouldn't have made it at all if she hadn't been so kind to do that for us. She also opened up breakfast early for us, too! Link to comment
gijoe24jp
I stayed at the Candlewood Suites near Columbus Airport last Friday, and I want to bring up a point to those who are thinking of staying (or who ended up getting this hotel on Priceline or Hotwire). The hotel does NOT offer shuttle service to Columbus Airport, therefore you have to arrange your own transportation. The hotel can arrange taxi for you though. On the other hand, Springhills and Towneplace Suites, which are across the street from Candlewood, both offer airport shuttle. Link to comment
