Also, please confirmt that your dates (checkin/checkout) are acutally 8/22/-8/25.

Sorry, the way you posted i thought you were reporting a win. (guess i missed the "Need")

You can't bid on or choose a specific hotel when using the opaque providers. With HOTWIRE you may have a very good guess at the property before you purchase, but the name is still not shown until after your purchase. You should give this thread a read which explains how priceline and hotwire work, as well as their similarities and differences:

If you must stay at this property than you should book it directly thru the Embassy Suites website.

If you are more flexible than that and simply need to be "in this general area" let us know and we will be able to advise further.

I'll also add that unless you have reason to be in this immediate area, it's not usually the best place for the typical visitor to NYC.
