Priceline rejected bids for an economy car for $19 per day for 8 days aug 12-20th total after tx and fees would have been $240

rebid for compact at $25 per day and still rejected final price after tx and fees would have been $308

Did hotwire and won 8 days same dates $360! Why rebid at priceline to be nickle and dimed plus my friend (I helped him book) wanted economy for gas mileage and last bid at priceline was for compact. He is doing alot of driving and wanted to save on gas.
