Priceline Hotel: 2* Chicago (Millenium-Loop-Grant Park) Best Western Grant Park

For 8/7/06: my initial budget was about $80 but it seemed recently downtown Chicago's hotel prices rise so much. Had been bidding for 3 days and finally raised my bid price to $95 and got accepted. :)

Detail like this:

1. Millenium-Loop-Grant Park 2* for $85 failed

2. Added North Michigan Avenue still 2* for $88 failed

3. Modified to 1* for $92 failed

4. Added Greater Chicago for $95 accepted

8/7/06 One night 2 rooms at $95 = 190.00+38.06 (Tx&fees) =$228.06

BTW, my friend tried up to $80 2* but failed right before I started, so that's why I started at $80.

And I can accept any hotel in all three area, in this case, I didn't use the free-bid strategy.

First time I noticed this website so next time I will try to use the PRICELINE link from here.

Still need to get 8/5 and 8/6 hotels in downtown Chicago, any comment? Thx.
