blasketisland Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Hi guys, This is one great site, keep up the great work! I have been checking Boston for the above dates and got back a few places in the Quincy and Boston Common areas. Have stayed in Quincy before and that would be my first choice. Any guidance on the results on Hotwire would be great. Thanks Michael
thenewbie Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Welcome! You can either browse our Hotwire hotel list to check for matches, or you can post what hotels you are looking to receive information about (area/star level/amenities/price).*EDIT* fixed link - try this and see what you can find.
thenewbie Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Also, Quincy is a city near boston, so if you mean Quincy Market please specify that area.Another thing we would need to know is if you would be willing to try Priceline. Looking at hotwire, I'd guess that you can win a 4* in Downtown boston somewhere between $60-80/night.
blasketisland Posted July 26, 2006 Author Report Posted July 26, 2006 Cheers thenewbie,I am a bit new to this so sorry if I didnt post all the info. The hotels I got back were, 4 star , Quincy 108$, 4.5 star Quincy 192$ and 3.5 star Quincy 175$ which was a customer favourite.Michael
tybor Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Also check the listings in the Theater District. There is a boutique hotel there that is often cheap in winter.
thereuare Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 blasketisland,There are likely multiple hotels at each star rating within the zone. The way we try to differentiate them is by the amenities that HOTWIRE associates with each. Please post the amenity icons that are associated with each property above that you are interested in.Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
