Great hotel right in the middle of everything in downtown Vancouver -- two blocks from Robson Street, a short stroll to the waterfront/cruise-ship terminal, and adjacent to a SkyTrain rapid-transit station.

When checking in, I was very polite in asking if a room on a higher floor with a balcony was available and the clerk gave us a fantastic room on the 30th floor with a huge balcony facing northeast. Rack rate on the Hyatt.com was $279 CDN per night ... I feel we got more than we deserved with this fabulous room (3001) considering what we paid.

Note: This hotel is undergoing renovations so apparently not all the rooms have been updated. I've heard that the older rooms are in serious need of updating, so it may help to ask for a newer room when you check in.

This is the sixth time I've used Priceline/Hotwire to book a hotel room and using BetterBidding.com for research. Thanks again for providing such a helpful service! :)
