hrm Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 I would appreciate any advice you can offer so that I can stay at The Venetian on 8/6/06 for 2 nights. I'm hoping that we can luck out and get a room there for no more than $129/nt. I do not wish to split the bid because that seems too risky; although if The Venetian is the only 5* then I suppose splitting the bid isn't much of a risk. Thank you so much for any help in strategizing a bid.
thereuare Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 A reminder that you're not bidding on the Venetian... but rather a 5* hotel in the given boundary. While the Venetian is the only hotel that has been reported here at that star level in this zone, the Bellagio could come up at any time... as could Mandalay Bay, Four Seasons, etc if any of these decided to participate with the opaque services. At the 5* level you have seven re-bid zones avaialble. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 5* Strip...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $129.Any questions feel free to ask.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
