Wanted 2 rooms for tomorrow night (Saturday) - bid $100 - refused with offer to add $22 to retry. Did this and got the:

Grand Hyatt

Midtown East

109 East 42nd Street

Park Avenue And Grand Central Station

Also recieved offer to extend stay - didn't do this.

Total price:

Number of Rooms: 2 Number of Nights: 1

Subtotal: $244.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $50.06

Total Charges: $294.06

Happy enough with deal as I didn't have time to mess about rebidding etc.

Would be pleased to hear from anyone who has stayed here re: what the rooms are like.

Just got a successful bid for the Grand Hyatt ($122). I am staying there this weekend and would appreciate any info. on the rooms from anyone who has stayed there.

Did they give you a room with one or two doubles, or a king etc. ?

Could you get a non-smoking room?

Did they treat you like a regular guest or did they treat you as a "Priceline" customer?

Our party is composed of 2 adults and 3 children so I have booked 2 rooms (based on past experience staying in SMALL NY hotel rooms) but am hoping to get connecting rooms so that the adults can go in one room and the kids in the other

Any help appreciated.
