f261064 Posted July 21, 2006 Author Report Posted July 21, 2006 Just got a successful bid for the Grand Hyatt ($122). I am staying there this weekend and would appreciate any info. on the rooms from anyone who has stayed there.Did they give you a room with one or two doubles, or a king etc. ?Could you get a non-smoking room?Did they treat you like a regular guest or did they treat you as a "Priceline" customer? Our party is composed of 2 adults and 3 children so I have booked 2 rooms (based on past experience staying in SMALL NY hotel rooms) but am hoping to get connecting rooms so that the adults can go in one room and the kids in the otherAny help appreciated.
thereuare Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 This hotel doesn't discriminate against "opaque" customers... if available they should give you what you request. You can (and should) call them now and put in a request for connecting rooms.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
f261064 Posted July 21, 2006 Author Report Posted July 21, 2006 Thanks for the replies - I signed up for the Hyatt's Gold Passport - and sent them the request through their website. Howeever, I will follow your request and call.Great website. I am a frequent user of priceline and find the info. posted here invaluable. I plan to be a regular poster from now on!!!!!
