Hello, just won a bid for the Mercure Paris Porte De Versaille from Aug 26 to 29 for $68 a night.

Not the best hotel in terms of location. In fact, Im a bit disappointed that I didn't do more research.

This is just about half price so it seems like a pretty decent deal.

Started with a 4* in the same region for $80 but they didn't bite.

So, I changed it to a 3* and made the bid of $68. Oh, the price is not a complaint, its a great deal. I just find the location far from the downtown core.

What I should have done was changed the region to one that is closer to the city.
