First bid for $38 for 2 1/2*-- selected University, Rancho Cardova, and South

Bid accepted and upgrade to 3* property :)

Check-In Date: Fri, Aug 18, 2006

Check-Out Date: Sat, Aug 19, 2006

# of rooms: 1

# of nights: 1

edited to add-- my boyfriend wants to try and get another room for the same night at the same hotel... if I use the same bidding strategy, what would my odds be of getting the same hotel for the same rate? I don't want to bid and then end up with a completely different hotel.

Can't say the odds of him receiving the same hotel. This is the only 3* hotel reported in this zone, so the odds are better than if we knew of other 3* properties in the area... but you could always be the first to report a new 3* hotel in this zone. It's a $38 risk you'll have to take our you can book it directly thru the Holiday Inn website. (i didn't look to see the costs there)

If you do decide to take the risk, i would try the same bid amount (don't try to undercut it) and i would bid 3* instead of 2.5*
