I bid $28, which seemed to be the magic number; rejected. Waited 36 hours and tried again. It was rejected but I was told I could have a free rebid if I upped it by $7, which I did.

Initially tried for Lake Park, Georgia, but Priceline said there were no "name your price" rooms available to even offer a bid. Best I could tell, however, they have numerous properties with availability there if you want to book them at priceline offers. I decided it was worth the $35 savings to go 15 miles north on I-75.
