canabiz Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 Folks, i just put on a bid $45 for 3* hotel and got accepted for the Holiday Inn Toronto Airport East, 600 Dixon Road in Toronto. My zones are pretty flexible: Airport, Downtown, East, West, DVP. We'll be checking out Niagara Falls and Skydome and CN Tower and whatnot from Saturday until Monday. We will be there for 2 nights and have 2 rooms, total with taxes and fees come to $214.82 USD.This is my first time using PriceLine ever so please let me know if this is a good deal ? My buddy told me the hotels in the airport area are usually very cheap in the weekend because they are there for business customers and obviously there is not a whole lot of business to be done on the weekend. My question is should I go back and try to *lower* the bid ? i.e. put in $35 and see what comes up with respect to 3* hotel ? or should I be happy to get this deal and just shut the hell up!!Also the page said that the rooms will accommodate 2 adults. Does that mean it's single-bed or double-bed ? We are looking to put 4 people in a room.If i want to cancel this one and try with a lower price, do I have to call customer service to cancel the booking ? I think my credit card has been charged already Thanks folks in advance for your help here.
