jaymeister Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Hi Moose,How did the upgrade part work? Does Priceline give you a chance to do this or did the hotel upgrade you? Was there an additional charge for the upgrade? Thanks,Jay
Gagnee Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Priceline can upgrade you if there is a property willing to accept the bid at any star level above the requested level if there is no availability at that price at the requested star level. There is no charge (or warning) for this and it can happen at any time!! This does not seem to happen much in New York, The Barclay is a very nice hotel and at $120.00 it's a real steal!!
