Hotwire Hotel: 4*, 3.5* and 3* in Downtown Toronto???

Hi there,

I'm looking at downtown Toronto hotels from 9/7 to 9/13 and Hotwire gives me a few options. Can you help identify?

4*: Customer Favorite, Fitness, Restaurant, Tennis Nearby, Pool, Business Center and Spa for $95 (I assume this is the Westin)

3.5*: Fitness, Restaurant, High-Speed Internet, Pool, Business Center and Spa for $127

3*: Fitness, Restaurant, Pool and Laundry for $130 -- I can't seem to find this one on any of your boards.

Also, generally speaking, do you know how closely Hotwire corresponds with Expedia's options. It seems hit and miss. Thanks so much! The site is terrific.

The 4* is a match for the Westin while the 3.5* is a match for the Novotel so that would be our best guesses for each. The 3* is not yet identified and it's probably not a realistic option give that it's $30/nite more than the 4* and lower rated. If i were to guess i'd suspect a Holiday Inn or similar type of property.

Hi there,

I still haven't purchased the hotel because location is very important to me (want to be near Bay and Bloor) and the Westin and Novotel are in the wrong part of downtown.

Any guesses on these new options on Hotwire?

2.5* Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, High-speed Internet Access $107

3* Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Laundry Facilities $135

I'm not seeing any of the above on a recent HOTWIRE search:

-are you searching the same dates as above

-are you changing the default of 2 adults

-are these the complete list of amenities

Thanks for your continued help on this. So I just did the same search Sept 7-13 in Toronto downtown and those same two hotels showed up below the 4* and the 3.5*.

But prices are a little different:

Neither of these have yet been identified... i still can't get the 2.5* property to show (i get an offer of a hotel with only one amenity icon and it's ~$195/nite) so it's hard for me to research it too much further. The 3* may be the Days Inn, and although i don't have a lot of confidence in it, that would be my best guess.
