gjjbmoore Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 I am trying to get a room for 10/13-10/15 for 2 adults and 2 children. The price is $84 and the amenities are oceanfront, airport shuttle, fitness center, pool, restaurant, and laundry. I looked on Hotels.com and the only 3* coming up for Melbourne is the Hilton Rialto (sp). Anyway that hotel is not oceanfront but a the Hilton Oceanfront is reopening in July so it could maybe be this hotel. Any ideas? Thanks from a first time poster. :)
thereuare Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 This hotel has not yet been identified, but i would think the Crowne Plaza seems to be a good match... it is beachfront (and i believe the icon you're seeing is beachfront rather than oceanfront) as well offers shuttle service to/from Melbourne International Airport (explaining the shuttle icon). That would be our best guess based upon these clues. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. gjjbmoore Posted July 11, 2006 Author Report Posted July 11, 2006 Thanks. When I go through this link, it also shows me a best buy in Cocoa Beach for $79. Any ideas on this one? Thanks.

gjjbmoore Posted July 11, 2006 Author Report Posted July 11, 2006 Sorry about that. The amenities are beachfront, fitness center, pool, restaurant, laundry, and tennis. It also says best value. Thanks.
thereuare Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 The amenities match that of the Holiday Inn Oceanfront, although that has previously been reported as a 2.5* property so i'm going to guess that it has been upgraded to a 3* (although no evidence of this since not reproted yet anyway). It's a moot point because if you prefer this property you can book it HERE for $67/nite.If you book the Holiday Inn please use THIS LINK for your purchase, otherwise use the HOTWIRE link if you move forward with the previous property.Let us know what you decide or if we can be of further help. gjjbmoore Posted July 12, 2006 Author Report Posted July 12, 2006 How can you book the Holiday Inn for $67 a night? I checked the Holiday Inn website and it was much more than that.

gjjbmoore Posted July 12, 2006 Author Report Posted July 12, 2006 No, but I think I figured it out myself last night. Thanks for all your help. I am going to book the Melbourne hotel through your link in a couple days. I will post back with my results.
