I forgot to write a review of the place. Here it goes. The place is wonderful. A meduim walk to Navy Pier, a few blocks from Michigan St. The rooms were new and very nice with wonderful views. They were re-doing the hotle guide when I was there, so I can not comment on what ammenities they had outside the room. The one downside is that parking is expensive. $36 if you park at the hotel. I checked in and then parked at the Grant Park garage for the night which I think was $22 max and then moved to the garage right down hill from the hotel at the early bird rate of $14, making the total $36 for two days instead of one.

Hotel was great, I hadn't stayed there before. Nice Irish pub on river had a "halfway to St Patrick's Day" thing going on, the weather was perfect.

Only minor complaints were from the time we checked in (around 4pm) to the time we got back from a wedding (1am), there were room service dishes flanking our door, sort of odd.

Parking was $42, reasonable for the area.

We only had time to eat at Shula's on Saturday breakfast. We were there around 8am, and it was busy with tons of suits - odd for a Saturday. The buffet was fairly good.

Really enjoyed our stay -- the staff was great! I inquired about purchasing an upgrade to the Club Level, which includes access to a club lounge, free internet, business center, daily snacks, bottled water and morning breakfast. $50 did it, and I think it was well worth it.
