Hotwire Hotel: 4* NYC MTE The Drake Swissotel

Won two nights (Nov. 14 - 16) at The Drake for $136/night. Was listed as a customer favorite. The hotel and room were very clean and the bed very comfortable. We arrived around 7pm so the only rooms available were doubles. Since we wanted a King, they offered an upgrade to an executive suite for $25/night. I dont know what the regular King rooms looked like, but this room is what I would have expected. The room was a decent size with a desk and side chair/ottoman. The bathroom was all marble tile, very clean, and had ample counter space. Including hotel taxes and the room upgrade we ended up paying $180/night.
