Jack W
Any tips on what I should try to get a 4* for Aug. 12 - 18 in Manhattan? I would be willing to stay 3 nights in one hotel and 3 nights in another. I'm a little nervous bidding on Priceline, I don't want there to be any problems. Is it normally a problem free process?Thank you. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! There are usually no problems as long as you understand how priceline works and their terms. If you understand that only double occupancy is guaranteed, bed configuration and room assignment is not, then you shouldn't have any issues. You can make requests after you win your hotel, but they are just that: requests, and may or may not be granted. If you haven't seen it yet, i would give this a quick read: I'VE NEVER USED PRICELINE or HOTWIREDo you have a maximum bid in mind? Which area(s) of Manhattan are you willing to accept? If you split the bid 2nites/4nites would that be ok too? Would you be willing to pay a bit more to not have to split the stay at all? (haven't looked at your dates yet so don't know if you'll need to yet, but figure i'd try to cover as many bases as i could)Let us know the above and we'll suggest how to best move forward. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
