Actually my friend will stay in Rio. Which one is best choice for us? Thanks in advance.

Agree that the best guess on the 3* is the Excalibur while the 3.5* is a match for Harrahs so that would be our best guess there.

Harrahs is a better strip location as well as is closer to the Rio for you to meet up with your friends. There used to be (and i assume still is) a free shuttle that goes from Harrahs to Rio, so if the above id is correct that would likely be a better choice for you as well.

If you want Harrahs, just found it HERE for $100/nite... which has no booking fee so would likely be cheaper than the above Hotwire purchase, as well as being non-opaque, so there is no question that you'd get Harrahs
