brentp Posted June 28, 2006 Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 Tried Priceline - no luck after 4 bids upto $95.Ended up using Hotwire for first time when a 3.5* Newport hotel showed up for $126. (vs > $300 through standard search sites). Even 2* and 2.5* hotels on Hotwire were listed at >$250 each. So, I'm happy with the results, . . . this is a holiday weekend and the LPGA US Open is in town. Without this, we likely would have had to stay ~ 30/40 minutes away.Ammenities shown: Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Link to comment
