Priceline Hotel: 3 or 4* hotel in NYC 12/29-1/1/07

Went through SavingsBarn links this time(yeah for me)

1st bid 4* -MTE $150/rejected

2nd bid 4*-added MTW $175/rejected

3rd bid 4* added financial district/soho $200/rejected

Already have The Paramount for $243/nt, but there are two of us and we need separate beds. Afraid going to 3* will produce lousier hotels than I desire. Maybe because of dates, I should stick with The Paramount which I booked through Hotels.com (long before I knew about better bidding)

Any thoughts.

Is there a reason you're not using your re-bid zones? What about UM/CPS?

I would definately keep your current reservation while you continue to try the opaque suppliers.
