Shingwedzi
Went thru savingsbarn.com.Marriott website currently shows a $119 weekend rate for these dates.Previous 2.5* bid failed at $40, and suggested increasing by $12.2* bid for $40 was originally won for these dates. Hotel won was StudioPlus. Confirmation page clearly showed that the room would have only one queen bed. This was unacceptable as the occupants are to be one father with his teenage daughter (and you can bet Dad would've ended up sleeping on the floor). Called Priceline, explained the problem, and they kindly cancelled the StudioPlus reservation. Link to comment
thereuare
WOW! I'm happy, yet surprised, Priceline cancelled the reservation for you. All that is guaranteed is a room that will accomodate double occupancy, so they were "within their obligation" with the StudioPlus room. Glad to see they were willing/able to listen to your situation and cancel the reservation. Thanks for the post and for using the links at SavingsBarn for your bidding. Randi66
I'm glad to hear it too. I'm traveling back to AA in August with a friend and I dont want to share a bed with her either. I'm praying I don't "win" StudioPlus. The Hampton( just came back from there on Wednesday) is sooooo much nicer. Happy Travelling, Randi Link to comment
