We have to go visit some potential colleges for my daughter so what the heck, we'll visit Disneyland. What kind of bidding strategy should I use? I would prefer a hotel that doesn't have a daily charge for parking but I'm not sure how to determine that. Is it listed anywhere on this board?

You can't designate a hotel with/without parking fees (although if you get a hotel with parking fees the savings are usually still much greater than if you book a hotel with no parking fees direct)... do you still want to go with Priceline?

If so, what is your maximum bid? We wouldn't want to suggest a strategy that went higher than you wanted to bid.

You have three re-bid zones available at the 3* level. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 3* Disneyland...

Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $48, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $50.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

I ended up getting a $50 coupon from Expedia which I used on the Good Nite Inn in Buena Park. Not the best but acceptable for my 2 daughters and I. I never was able to get anything through Priceline with the bidding strategy above.

If you could have pushed the bidding a bit higher, you would have easily got something. There are always rooms to get on 3 star in Anaheim it seems.

In the non-summer months, your sub-$50 bid would have probably sufficed.
