Priceline Hotel: NYC Midtown 4* 6/12-6/13

Hello-

I followed the bidding strategy in the prior post referring to the same area/similiar dates - http://www.betterbidding.com/index.php?showtopic=24782&

No luck yet. Can someone advise as to the strategy for continuing up to $200 (my max bid for a 4 star) and also a strategy for a 3 star (max bid $175)?

It is not recommending to follow strategies posted for others whose dates are different than your own... it can least to wasted bids, or worse, an overbid.

I am also having problems for the same date, same area. I have read posts that say bids are being accepted in the $130 range, but i have not had any success. I wonder if there is something special about that night.

I was asked to let everyone know that I wasn't able to get a 4* hotel NYC midtown for less than 200, so I gave up and we're staying with friends!
