farangene Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 5/29/06 bid $34 for 2.5* Oak (pl and SR) and Oak (Livermore) -- rejected but counter offer of +$9.5/30 Waited 24 hours and upped to Bid $36-- 2.5 * Oak (Pl and SR only)-- accepted -- total cost is $47. ALso P/L offered to extend my stay at the same price $36. I tried to add Sunday night stay but was rejected with counter offer of $44. Bid again for Fri night only and got the same hotel and same price of $36 ($47 total) for Fri stay. :) I checked the Residence Inn website price for these nights and price is $79 + per night. This is a AAA 3 diamond property. The hotel website says they offer a complimentary hot breakfast but that is not shown on the Priceline receipt. That would be a very, very sweet deal.Thanks.
farangene Posted July 5, 2006 Author Report Posted July 5, 2006 Well, it turns out that is was a sweet deal. hot breakfast was included and lots to eat. Also had free internet and use of the business center's computers. Was able to check in early (9AM) so didnt have to cart bags around. Great front desk, friendly maids, big rooms, close to freeway but quiet rooms and all-in-all a great stay. Enjoyable, esp at that price!!.
