mamma_mia Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Caesars Palace4.5* Las Vegas StripAmenities: casino, restaurant, pool, fitness, business center, golf, tennis, spa. Check-in: Sun, Dec 28, 2003 4:00 PMCheck-out: Tue, Dec 30, 2003 12:00 PMNo. of Rooms: 1No. of Nights: 2Price Per Night: $140.00Subtotal:$280.00Taxes/Booking Fees: $39.05Total Price: $319.05 Based on other posts for a 4.5*, I expected to get MGM Grand. I am satisfied with the outcome. I have tickets to Mystere at TI and now I can just walk to the show and not deal with the traffic getting to TI. Lowest rate at Caesars Palace is $109. MGM is $129.95. With double the difference, I saved more with Caesars than with MGM. Requesting the refund went smoothly. Less taxes and booking fees, my cost per night at Caesars is $78.
thereuare Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 All is well that ends well :) Welcome to BetterBidding. Thanks for reporting the results of your purchase and enabling us to add another property to our database.Looks like you purchased with the intent of using the Double the Difference Guarantee and ended up with an even better rate. Personally, i like the Mirage/Venetian/Caesars area of the strip better than the Four Corners so, at least in my opinion, the location is better (regardless of seeing Mystere... which is excellent by the way)Good Luck in Vegas and thanks again for posting! details1971 Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 I had posted a response but after reading the above email realized that they had already used the double the difference option.
