vozbelle Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I will be traveling from Baltimore to Fairview Heights, IL (near St. Louis) to Chicago, ILFor Fairview Heights I know I will get the Sheraton on PLI am more concerned about ChicagoI plan on being in Chicago 8/16-8/191. I will have a car. I wish to park my car and basically forget about until I leave2. Which PL areas are convenient to public transportation and close to sites? I am looking for 4 star level3. Do any areas offer reasonable parking? I am not interested in over $20 park/day. I know free parking at centrally located place is pretty much a dream! From looking on hotwire I am going to start low bidding up to a max of 73 for a 4 star. I have to free re-bids and time on my side. With the addition of parking fees (I usually do not drive when visiting major cities) I am being cheap!
thereuare Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Most visiting Chicago choose (NMA-River North) and the (Millenium-Loop-Grant Park) zones. I'm guessing parking in this area (or anywhere in Chicago) will likley cost you more than $20/day... although you can probably find parking at the airport(s) and/or suburbs for less and then take the train (commuter or El) into the city for the length of your stay.Let us know when you're ready to seriously bid for this stay and we'll advise accordingly. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
vozbelle Posted May 25, 2006 Author Report Posted May 25, 2006 Thanks!I will be finalizing my dates in the next few weeks, come back for assistanceI will look into parking and taking the train...I hate spending money on parking!
