Priceline Hotel: 3* Boston (Cambridge) Radisson

Not really looking for help--just thought I'd post the info. for others to see.

I was bidding for 1 room, two nights.

I used re-bidding sstrategies to bid 4* in Boston-downtown/Charleston and Copley. Went up to $115, still rejected. Maybe I'll have better luck as the date gets closer...or maybe I will decide to try for 3*.

Right now it looks like it'll take somewhere in the mid to upper 100s to be successful at the 4* level for your dates.

Just an additional datum ... Microsoft TechEd is in town just before and they have about 10000 attendees in town for that. Probably a lot of stayovers after that. Good hunting.

If you're looking to get a cheaper rate, Hotwire is showing a 3-star hotel in Boston Common - Theatre District for $65.

The amenities are Restaurant, Fitness, Business - which might be the Boston Doubletree Downtown.

Won the two nights at the Radisson Hotel Cambridge at $85.

Failed at $75.00

If you had followed my suggestion, you could have been downtown for $20 less.

To be honest, I didn't see your suggestion....I probably should have checked back here first. I have never used hotwire before & am more comfortable with Priceline. I should probably learn more about Hotwire.

At any rate, I am happy with the Radisson...thanks again for the help.
