National, which is my preferred rental car if I have a choice, offered me what looked like a good price of $70 for a compact, which came to $93 once all the taxes were added on. Since I was going to take that deal unless something much better came along, I bid $9 for an intermediate and then $10 for a compact, both rejected. Unrelated question: Although I used savingsbarn for my unsuccessful Priceline bid, I didn't see an obvious way to link to National through this site. Am I missing something? Link to comment
