The lowdown:

No Floppy Drive (can be had for extra $30). Not sure if eligible for both rebates, if only eligible for one then net cost is $300 after rebate, if can get both rebates, net cost is $200.

Enter E-Value Code: 11111 - d50907s

Change the Following:

Check second rebate (so both are checked)

Memory: select 128MB

Hard Drive: 40GB

Floppy Drive: No Floppy Drive

CD: 48x CD Rom (bottom of list)

Mouse: Dell 2-Button Scroll Mouse

Monitor: No Monitor

Click Continue:

Select 1 year service

Update Price... should be $400 (before rebate(s))

Standard Shipping is FREE!

Specs should be as follows:

I tried to order the Dell on line - got an error message - can not process, so I then called Dell and they stated that the E-Value Code is not correct -

Can you review your post and update it - I need a new processor......

It looks like the E-Value Codes are linked to the rebate, one of which has now expired (which is why the E-Value Code no longer works).

Best i could find was similar specs BUT with a Celeron processor which nets to $319 after $100 rebate (Pentium will cost <i think> about $70-80 more). Not sure what you're needs are but if you want to see the Celeron system try this E-Vaue code:

6V417-D24CIS

All that needs to be changed is select:

no floppy drive

no monitor

Cost should be $419 before rebate

If you'd rather spend the extra money for the Pentium let me know and i'll try to find the E-Vaue code of that.

Your a good man - cost me around $400 - with 0% interest till june 2004 ( love it when they let me pay over time for nothing).
