DaveMac Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 You want to be downtown to easily access MUNI and BART. If you stay outside the city (San Mateo, SF Airport, South San Francisco, etc.), you'll risk being stuck at a place a good distance from convenient mass transit. There are a few hotels in South San Francisco and San Francisco Airport that are somewhat close to mass transit, but it's a gamble and you will enjoy your trip more if you're downtown. I would recommend (in order): USE/USW, Fishermans Wharf, Cathedral Hill, Civic Center.
stikky Posted May 10, 2006 Author Report Posted May 10, 2006 I will be there June4/5 until June 14th. would like to spend up to $100/day or so.
